With my beautiful daughter

Rory's home. My beautiful, intelligent Rory is home. And back in school. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am. I can't even write. I'm so excited. She has a job and everything. I'm beyond proud. I love you, kid. You have no idea how much I missed you.

Mom's a little upset. I don't know how to fix it.

Luke and I got into a little fight. Christopher called out of the blue, which didn't make him very happy. We got into a fight in front of Sookie and Jackson. Sorry, guys. Things are fine now, though, thankfully. They'll be even better once we get new bedroom furniture.

Speaking of Luke, he was being kind of weird. Whatever it is, we'll figure it out later. Right now, I'm pulling an all-nighter with my daughter. We have a lot of catching up to do.

So, I woke up this morning and nearly tripped over Paul Anka, which would have caused me to knock the fuzzy alarm clock off the nightstand which would've landed on on the floor, thus making a loud noise, and waking up Luke. Then he would've started in about how I don't need coffee. Does he not know anything about me after all this time? Lorelai needs her coffee to function. Not news to anyone.

I fed Paul Anka, who seems to be feeling better. Emily My mother called and rambled on about something. I made an excuse about how I had to get to work and quickly hung up. By this time I was running late, so I called Michel, who was not happy about it. But I figure if I'm already late, I might as well be late (nothing important was going on today, otherwise I might've picked up the pace ever so slightly). I went with Luke over to the diner and drank a lot of coffee, then made my way over to the inn. Michel was pretty mad. Sookie and I found it highly amusing.
